Happy New Year, What Are Your Plans

Happy New Year, What Are Your PlansHappy New Year, what are you plans for the year?  I hope this New Year finds you in Great Spirit.  A lot of things have happen in 2016 that may have gotten you off track.

The good thing about a second chance is there will always be a second chance.

I write this blog with Great Spirit and genuine expression because I know this is the year for so many to increase their knowledge and improve their business.

One of my sincere duties this year is to get as much information out there to help others achieve their goals.

These goals may not be business focus; they can be using weight, rekindling a friendship or relationship, improve in a certain expect of their lives, or an area that is important to you.

It is up to you to do this and no one can achieve it better than you.

To get you on a clear path, I would like to recommend you do these two techniques to ensure you are starting off right.

Ways To Improve This Year

As I mentioned earlier, we all have desires and goal for the New Year.  Some of us know exactly what to do and some need a little push.

Let’s focus on areas and aspects of our lives that can help us in the long term.  My suggestions are not for instance gratification; it’s for establishing a lifestyle that will change how you view things. Happy New Year, What Are Your Plans?

Review The Past Year

This may sound weird to some and interesting to others.  Why review the past year some are wondering.  Because it’s hard to know where you are going, if you don’t understand where you’ve been.

What happened in 2016 that you which you could change?  If it pertains to your business, what derailed you from reaching your goals in 2016?

I had set up great goals in 2016 only to be derailed when people started getting in my head.  The moment that happened, I saw myself doing things that were not beneficial to me and my business.

At that time, I had to regroup and reconnect with individuals that were heading in the same direction as me.

It wasn’t an easy task because I had to renew my mind.  Romans 12:1 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

In your spare time, read the whole chapter and learn what needs to be done in 2017.

Write Down Your Goals

Now that we’ve examined what happened in 2016, it’s time to get over it and focus on the future. Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

Instead of focusing on long term goals in this exercise, I am recommending you focus on 3 months at a time.

I’ve been in several weight loss programs and one of them stress to focus on the first 5% of your weight loss goals.

By doing this, it allows you to see the small picture and understand it is attainable.

I don’t know your goal; however, depending on how it will take to accomplish it, achieving parts of it makes you want to continue the pursuit.

So, write down what you would like to accomplish in the first 3 months.  Don’t worry about how small it is.  Just do it.

When that goal is accomplished, move to the next level.  By doing this, you will eventually reach your long term goal.

As you see, it is nothing extraordinary.  It is very simple and can help you accomplish whatever you set out to do.

I hope you a great 2017. Happy New Year, What Are Your Plans?  Reach out to me if you are interested in learning what I do.
